Automated CPD submission is the direct, API-based transmission of monthly Construction Productivity Data (CPD) from a site Biometric Authentication System (BAS) to BCA via SGBuildex — Singapore’s national data exchange platform for the built environment. From 1 May 2026, this is mandatory for new applicable projects in Singapore.
It replaces the existing ePSS (Electronic Productivity Submission System) workflow — where site teams manually collected onsite attendance data, collated offsite fabricator records separately, compiled everything into one of four Excel templates across 150+ trades in 7 categories, and uploaded to the ePSS portal every month.
Under automated CPD submission, attendance data flows from your integrated BAS to BCA automatically each month — no manual upload, no multi-team consolidation. BCA has also streamlined the trade list from 150+ trades across 7 categories to 30 trade categories, simplifying worker trade classifications.
