About BETC Grant
The Built Environment Technology and Capability (BETC) Grant is a S$100 million initiative launched by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to support firms in the Built Environment sector, aiming to drive the next phase of industry transformation. The BETC grant will replace the Productivity Innovation Project (PIP) grant, which is ending on 31 March 2025.
BETC Funding Scope
The BETC grant will support BE firms in developing capabilities across 3 key areas: Enterprise, Technology, and Manpower. 1) Develop new enterprise capabilities, e.g. lean construction and collaborative contracting; 2) Increase adoption of advanced technologies, e.g. digital solutions, robotics and automation; and 3) Build manpower capabilities, e.g. innovative sourcing method for higher skilled workers, job and process redesign and specialised training.
BETC Funding Support
The BETC grant, available from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030, encourages BE firms to enhance their competitiveness through innovation and productivity improvements. For applications submitted from 1 Apr 2025 to 31 Mar 2027, the BETC grant offers funding support of up to 70% for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs. For applications submitted from 1 Apr 2027 to 31 Mar 2030, the BETC grant offers funding support of up to 50% for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs.

Monitor real-time performance and track key operating parameters of your manpower productivity, safety and quality
- Manage your manpower scheduling, automate overtime (OT) computation, and track progress and productivity
- Manage and monitor your worksites' permit-to-work (PTW), safety inspections, incidents and lessons learnt management digitally
- Manage and track all defects, non-conformities and rectification works to avoid project delays
- Integrate with Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as biometric facial recognition system, AI camera, etc.
- Better turnaround of quality inspections

Are you eligible?
- Open to all Built Environment firms including developers, main builders, sub-contractors, consultants, prefabricators, and suppliers.
- Business entity registered and operating in Singapore.
- Business related to the Built Environment sector.
- Financially capable to start and complete the proposed initiative(s).
How to apply?
1. Business Grants Portal (BGP)
Log in to the Business Grants Portal (BGP) with your Corppass to apply for the BETC grant.
Note: Third party companies are not allowed to apply or manage the grant on behalf of the applicant.
2. BETC Application Scope
Firms must meet at least one out of four project outcome:
- Productivity improvement
- Increase in skilled workers
- Increase in local employees with higher wages
- Increase in upskilled PMETs
3. Evaluation by BCA
Applications are evaluated based on:
- Expected transformation outcomes relative to relevant current industry standards
- Level of innovation
- Investment costs of the proposed initiatives
